In my opinion, having a big dinner at home on the eve of Chinese New Year is a better choice than having it at a restaurant. Firstly, having dinner at home can strengthen family bonds and enhance the sense of belonging. Families can cook together, enjoy the food they prepared and have conversations. Secondly, having dinner at home saves money and avoids the large crowds and noise in restaurants during the festive season. Lastly, home-cooked meals are usually healthier and more hygienic as families can control the ingredients and cooking methods. Therefore, having a big dinner at home is a better choice for me.
