Write a short essay with a clear central idea and effective development in about 150 words. You should base your writing on the following situation and give consideration to the unity, coherence and variety of each paragraph.

Your best friend Teddy asks you to help him cheat on an English exam. You must say no to him but justify yourself by showing what is true friendship. Don't worry. He can surely accept your opinion because he will know the true meaning of friendship.

Cheating on an exam is never the right thing to do, even if it means helping out a friend. As much as I would like to assist my best friend Teddy, I know that cheating is not only dishonest but also has consequences that can be detrimental to his future.

True friendship is about being honest and trustworthy with each other, even when it may not be the easiest or most convenient thing to do. It means having respect for each other's values and beliefs and always striving to do what is right, not just what is easy.

If I were to help Teddy cheat on his English exam, I would not only be compromising my own moral values, but I would also be putting his future at risk. Cheating may provide temporary relief, but in the long term, it only sets a person up for failure and disappointment.

As his loyal friend, I must remind Teddy that true success comes from hard work and dedication. I will encourage him to study harder and diligently prepare for the exam so that he can earn his grade fairly and honestly.

In conclusion, true friendship is built on honesty, trust, and respect. While it may be difficult to say no to our friends, it is important to stand up for what we believe is right and to support our friends in making the right choices for themselves.

With the sharp rise of the number of college graduates in the labour market in recent years, it is increasingly difficult for college students to find ideal jobs upon graduation.   Should they stay at home living off their parents or should they take jobs that may not be so satisfactory?  What do you think of the NEET group (an acronym for people currently "not in education, employment, or training" in society?
Give your reasons and suggestions.

With the current situation in the job market, it is becoming increasingly difficult for college students to find their ideal job immediately after graduation. As a result, some may be tempted to live off their parents until they can secure the perfect job, while others may opt to take jobs that may not be as satisfactory. Clearly, both options have their own pros and cons.

If one chooses to live off their parents, they may have more time on their hands to focus on their job search and improve their skills. However, this approach can also lead to a lack of motivation to work hard and gain independence. On the other hand, taking a less-than-ideal job can provide valuable experience and help build a strong work ethic, but it may also lead to feelings of dissatisfaction and frustration.

As for the NEET group, while some individuals may intentionally choose this lifestyle, many are forced into this situation due to the lack of available opportunities or support. It’s important to provide resources and assistance to this group to help them re-enter the workforce and achieve their goals.

In conclusion, college graduates should carefully weigh their options and consider the value of gaining experience, building a strong work ethic and becoming financially independent. For those who may be struggling to find employment, society should strive to provide support and opportunities to help them achieve their full potential.

There was a time when most people expected to get out of school, find a job, and stick with it pretty much for the rest of their lives.  Today, the opposite is true.  People tend to change jobs, will you be committed to a lifetime career of job-hop often?
Give your reasons.

In today’s world, the concept of a lifelong career is becoming increasingly rare. With the rise of technology and globalization, job opportunities are constantly evolving, and people have more career options than ever before. Given this changing landscape, I believe that it is unlikely that I will commit to a lifetime career of job-hopping.

Firstly, job-hopping can be detrimental to building a professional reputation. When an individual frequently switches jobs, it may suggest a lack of commitment or stability, making employers less likely to consider them for future job opportunities. In contrast, staying with an employer for an extended period can demonstrate loyalty and dedication, which can lead to greater opportunities within an organization.

Secondly, jumping from job to job often means starting from scratch, learning new systems and cultures each time. This can be stressful and take a toll on an individual's mental and emotional well-being. Sticking to a career path allows individuals to build connections, develop specialized skills, and gain experience that can be invaluable in the long run.

Overall, while job-hopping may seem like an attractive option for those seeking new challenges or higher salaries, I believe that committing to a career path is ultimately more rewarding. It provides stability, helps build connections, and allows for developing specialized skills and experience, which can pay off in the long run.
